Alpheton is only some 1 hour 30 minutes from the M11 junction on the M25 and is situate twixt Sudbury (7miles) and Bury St Edmunds (A45 East West) (11 miles), Colchester (A12 North South) (20 miles). All have railway stations and bus services to Alpheton. (You may need to change depending on service).

For guests seeking overnight accommodation you will be hard pushed to find better than that available in the famous medieval wool village of  Lavenham (4 miles) (See links page).
